Hey Tallahassee friends, neighbors, and fellow resisters!  Some of you have been asking, “So… what’s next?” I’m excited to share that the next national day of action—NO KINGS—is happening Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10 AM.

No Kings is a nationwide mobilization against the growing authoritarianism and corruption we’ve seen from the Trump administration—silencing dissent, detaining people over their politics, ignoring the courts, threatening citizens, and handing out favors to the ultra-rich. They want to rule—but we know the power really lies with the people.

The Women’s March is also calling for community “Circus Acts” to “kick out the clowns and end the greatest shit show on earth”! See link to this event below:

In solidarity, our local Indivisible community, with support from various partners, will host a protest demonstration at the Florida Historic Capitol (on the Monroe Street side) on June 14th starting at 10 am.

This will be a lawful and peaceful protest and rally in support of our Democracy, workers, our environment, affordability, sensible gun laws, and healthcare and the democratic norms and Constitutional laws that are our nation's traditions.  

Time is short, so please start getting your protest signs and circus acts ready! We want to line the sidewalks of Monroe Street and  Apalachee Parkway near the Capital with clever and meaningful messages.  You can also set up your clown act anywhere you like on the grounds!  

Indivisible will have a table at the demonstration where you can say hi and sign a petition and give us your contact info, if you wish. Look for the Indivisible Tallahassee banner and a table full of clipboards and friendly people staffing it.
